In line with its modernization strategy and operational efficiency goals, Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC) carried out an ambitious technology transformation project at its headquarters. Developed in collaboration with Newtech Group, the initiative aimed to equip workspaces with state-of-the-art audiovisual infrastructure, enabling hybrid collaboration and decision-making in a sector known for its high operational criticality. The project included the design, installation, and integration of technology solutions across different types of rooms, tailored to the specific requirements of each environment. In this context, the modernization of meeting rooms was key to standardizing the experience and ensuring reliable hybrid meetings. The spaces upgraded included: Newtech’s approach combined collaboration platforms Microsoft Teams Rooms with high-end audio, video, and control systems, ensuring seamless, reliable, and user-friendly experiences. To maintain that end-to-end quality, the project relied on a set of equipment selected based on each room’s use case and level of operational criticality. A key aspect was optimizing existing resources. In several offices, previous equipment was reused, while the Newtech team handled structured cabling upgrades, mounting, and integration—delivering a complete technology refresh without disrupting CGC’s day-to-day operations.
