Huddle Rooms: Your next favorite meeting room

Small workspaces or “Huddle Rooms” have become a trend thanks to companies like Google implementing them for some years so that their workers can think, communicate or have fun. The most important feature is that they are equipped to function as a meeting room of the highest level without the need to take up too much space with screens and heavy equipment.

What technological elements are needed to build a Huddle Room?

• A table to seat up to four people, with electrical connections and an internal connection panel to provide Ethernet and AV inputs to power the display.
• An electronic whiteboard that allows participants to make notes that can be sent to everyone present through apps such as Evernote or Dropbox, or at least as a PDF by email.
• A display between 50 and 65 inches. The contents of the participants' devices will be displayed on this monitor.
• A good WiFi connection so that the participants have access to the internal network and the Internet at all times. Robust and wide coverage access points are recommended.
• A communication system under the BYOD concept –Bring Your Own Device. People want to work with their own devices and it is necessary to provide them with equipment that allows them to connect and interact in a few minutes.
