Our NewCOS platform offers different solutions, including “Governance for Microsoft Teams”. Where a management and automation layer is created to control the use and administration of this application.

Governance for Microsoft Teams: How is governance of this technology achieved?

Through a single endpoint REST API that Microsoft exposes for application development called the Microsoft Graph (https://docs. microsoft.com/en-us/graph/overview). In addition, it can be applied to many other technologies of the Office 365 suite such as: Sharepoint, Yammer, Microsoft Teams telephony and monitoring features, Exchange, among others.

NewCOS has a high level of integration through various services provided by the platform together with Microsoft Graph. Allowing you to develop workflows and integrations with your own applications that solve complex use cases within your organization. In addition, we expose through our own REST API, the integration with legacy interfaces that Microsoft has not yet migrated to Microsoft Graph and that still needs to be resolved with scripting tools such as powershell, simplifying the operation and automation of these functionalities. The classic example of this type of legacy module is the configuration of telephony features for Microsoft Teams.

Governance for Microsoft Teams: How do we do it?

Newcos' own services deal with the complexity of these interfaces by creating an abstraction layer. The advantages of working through these interfaces is that there is no need to worry about persistent authentication mechanisms, Single Sign-On, in-bulk processing of requests, task scheduling, horizontal growth to scale in situations of greater demand, high availability, update to new features added to the API and a high level of customization that can be adjusted to various use cases and workflows.
